- what part of the world are you in? (Alaska in summer? Arizona in winter?)
- how windy is it?
- what has the average temp been over the past 30 days?
- are there any geologic forces, eg vulcanism, that are influencing the ground temp?
As you can see, far more info is needed to even attempt a guess.That would depend on a number of things:
- is the water heated (besides from the sun)
- how long has it been 80 degrees (only a few days or a month)
- is the pool in sunlight all day, or partly in the shade
- the temperature of the beach water would also depend on whether there is fresh (cooler) water flowing into the areaTypically,
