Is it illegal to buy medicine if you live in the usa from overseas?

I am looking to buy my medication from overseas, since its a fraction of the cost, but I am confused if its illegal? The drug I need is not a narcotic/pain reliever. Is it illegal to have some one mail me my medication? I would not be buying it through a web site but a family member would purchase it for me and send it by mail. I do have a valid prescription. Thank you.I buy them and I have no worries

Sometimes they are held up at customs. Once, I was told WEEKS later that it was stopped at customs coming into the US, and the company simply placed another order for me.

I think having someone just mail you some would be illegal. You should try http://www.noprescriptionchemi... because you don't need a prescription to buy prescription drugs. http://www.noprescriptionchemi... . They have doctors who will write you one for free so everything is legit. Report It I have gotten meds in Mexico and mailed them out for people before. I don't remember if any were scripts or not tho. I am thinking one or 2 were and it was easy to get them plus no trouble at the border either. That was like 5 yrs ago so not sure if that has changed any. It's sad the drug companies state side are so darn expensive to cause people to look outside the country for the same darn thing!Yes, providing they follow FDA (www.fda.gov) regulations for importing medication.

I usually buy from http://www.onlinepharmacybroker.com because they provide you with a free prescription which you must include if you are importing to the U.S. The quantity can't be more than 3months worth either or it won't qualify as personal use.you can import meds for personal use but not more than 90 days supply. this is a good site http://savemoneyrx.net where I and my family order our meds. we order viagra, cialis, propecia , acomplia (rimonabant) regulary, and a few other meds, but not so often. Has helped to save lots of money during the past 2 years.
