What was the average height of men and women in the 1890`s in America?
I think it would be the same. Abe Lincoln was 6'4". The super size meals from McDonald's did not make us grow taller.one would probably say that its the average height that it is now in America although there are reasons to disagree considering the differences between then and now.If you ever get the chance to look at really old clothing (say a museum) you will notice those people couldn't be more than 5 ft. tall at best.
